Find the calm in you to breathe through tantrums in public and at home
Create a relationship with your children that grows inward obedience
Experience restored energy and go beyond the present parenting exhaustion
Most parents struggle with going out in public, trying to keep their kids safe while navigating a bee-line to their destination, all while holding their breath, hoping nothing bad will happen. This is compounded and terrifying when adding twins into the mix. One twin runs between parked cars and the other darts toward the street, seemingly not hearing desperate cries to return.
Then, suddenly, you’ve had enough, and the yelling and threats begin, ending in punishments that don't even achieve the desired results. The loss of time, combined with feelings of embarrassment, guilt, and shame, compounded by crying children being escorted to the car, leaves you exhausted and wondering how to manage the next outing.
It’s Never Too Late to Turn Things Around
No matter what your relationship with your child(ren) looks like right now, there is hope. Depending on where things are at, it can be hard to believe there is truly another way. But I promise you there is.
None of us start off as parents knowing what to do. We create plans, try to be the people we want to be and watch as our idealistic imaginings get run over by the reality of daily life and the immense pressures of caring for our kids.
Mom of twin boys and Parent Coach
Married into a traditional Korean family, my culturally mixed marriage brought unique struggles, especially in aligning our parenting styles. As a special education and preschool teacher, I applied various strategies to my parenting but still felt overwhelmed by the unique challenges twins presented. I struggled with resources like parenting books with limited sections on twins, parenting courses, and home-based instruction, realizing I wasn't making progress on my own. In a last-ditch effort, I discovered Jai.
With my background in education, and the coaching I personally received in Jai, I've learned invaluable strategies and tools that I now integrate into my Breathe Easy Parenting program. My goal is to support parents in creating a loving and peaceful family life, especially those with twin families who navigate life a little bit differently.
I know you want to feel empowered and confident as a parent at home and in public, building a loving relationship with your children so you can always be there for them. To do that you need to find a way to reimagine and reestablish a different kind of relationship with your kids.
"I had the opportunity to attend coaching sessions that Catherine offered for new parents. She had great down-to-earth strategies to navigate the chaos of new motherhood. These strategies were useful and applicable immediately! She is super approachable, friendly, and non-judgmental. I felt heard and valued in her group sessions. Catherine’s presence as a coach helped me stay focused, left me accountable and I was refreshed leaving with something new each time. I am a more confident and calmer parent because of Catherine. Thank you!"

Which makes you feel like you’re going to spend the rest of your life struggling with your children and continue to feel like you’re just not doing a good job as a parent.
I believe that the real issue is that we’re not taught how to be the kind of parents most of us long to be so we end up slipping into the patterns that were ingrained in us in our own childhoods. Ones which do not particularly give us the results we want with our own children.
I understand how hard it is to ask for help as a parent. Which is why when you contact me, you will be met with understanding, a non-judgemental openness and a supportive, personalized, effective strategy that I will personally guide you through every step of the way.
When you book a call with me, we’ll sit down together and talk so I can get a sense of what’s going on for you and your family and where I can offer support.
I’ll explain my approach and the options we have for working together. You can ask any questions you have and see what type of support would be the best fit for your life and schedule.
If it feels right to you, we can book our first session and get started. If it’s not a good fit, I will do my best to offer alternative resources or suggestions for support, wherever possible. There’s no pressure of any kind, simply an opportunity to see if we are a good fit to work together.
"My time with Catherine was truly special and I wouldn’t be the parent I am today without a lot of the insights I gained from the coaching process.
I am a much more grounded, laid back, and open-hearted parent. I see myself and my parenting in a different way. I know there are more challenges ahead, but I feel empowered and capable of handling them with grace and compassion.
It’s been seriously life-changing and I think this process should be mandatory for all parents!
A million thanks Catherine!"
